This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the role and scientific activities of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in the process of establishing the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.

The author specifically emphasizes that the establishment of the Center marked the beginning of a new stage in the spiritual, scientific, and cultural life of the country and is of great importance in harmonizing national and universal values.

The article, published in such an influential publication, thoroughly covers the main tasks in the Center's activities: implementing research directions, fundamental research and innovative projects, and developing the scientific foundations for exposition and museum concepts.

Furthermore, the Academy's cooperation with international organizations and its active participation in international forums and conferences are assessed as an important factor in enhancing the Center's scientific credibility and influence.

Indeed, in accordance with the assignment of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev, on January 29, 2025, the Academy of Sciences was tasked with providing scientific, methodological, and organizational assistance to the Center of Islamic Civilization.

Within the framework of executing this assignment, the Academy of Sciences and its structural subdivisions established close scientific cooperation with the Center.

As a result of the active participation of academicians, scientists, and scientific institutions under the leadership of the President of the Academy of Sciences, Shavkat Ayupov, and Vice-President Bahrom Abdukhalimov, the museum expositions and content of the Center were prepared at a high scientific level.

Within the framework of cooperation, more than 800 research projects have been developed and are being implemented with the aim of enriching the content of the center's activities and strengthening its scientific foundations.

Moreover, within the activities of the Center's Expanded Scientific Council, a plan and directions for scientific research were formed in cooperation with scientists from the Academy of Sciences and various scientific institutions, and innovative and scientific programs were coordinated and implemented.

These projects were aimed at studying the scientific, spiritual, cultural, and historical heritage of Islamic civilization, highlighting its role in the development of world science and culture, as well as restoring our national values based on modern scientific analyses.

There is no doubt that this effective cooperation between the Academy of Sciences and the Center of Islamic Civilization will continue to develop steadily in the future, yielding new scientific results and practical achievements.
