The event-rich program of the practical visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States of America has concluded.
The head of our state held fruitful negotiations with President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington, D.C., and also participated in the summit of Central Asian countries and US leaders in the "C5+1" format.
Agreements were reached on further developing Uzbekistan–US strategic partnership relations and deepening cooperation between Central Asia and the US in the "C5+1" format.
The head of our state also met with Senator Steve Daines, and Congresswomen Carol Miller, Bill Huizenga, and Sydney Kamlager-Dove.
The President of Uzbekistan received US Trade Representative Howard Lutnik, President and Chairman of Eximbank John Yovanovic, Chief Executive Officer of the International Development Finance Corporation Ben Black, and Global Chief Operating Officer of General Motors International Shilpan Amin.
As part of the business program of the visit, a roundtable discussion was held with the participation of US business leaders. Following the meetings and negotiations, a number of bilateral and multilateral documents were adopted. After the conclusion of the visit's events, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan departed for the city of Tashkent.
