Citizens who have fought against drug addiction and drug-related crimes will be awarded a breast badge. The Ministry of Justice reported on this.
The regulation on the "Devotee in the Fight Against Drugs" breast badge was approved by a government resolution. Devoted citizens, primarily young people, will be awarded the breast badge.
The list of candidates for the breast badge is submitted to the Agency for Drug and Psychotropic Substance Control under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan annually by May 1.
The breast badge is presented in a solemn ceremony annually on the eve of June 26 - the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
An individual is awarded the breast badge only once. The breast badge is worn on the left side of the chest, following state awards.
