Following high-level talks, the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the official ceremony for launching the joint border trade zone "Shovot–Toshhovuz".

The leaders of the two countries emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation in trade, industry, and regional collaboration at their meeting in Koksaroy.
