The final stage of the "Miss Universe 2025" international competition was held on November 21 at the IMPACT exhibition and convention center in Bangkok. The first vice-miss was the representative of Thailand, while the subsequent places were awarded to participants from Venezuela, the Philippines, and Côte d'Ivoire.
After her victory, Fotima said in her speech that she wanted to inspire women and girls to believe in the power of their own voice. She also spoke about her personal life, laughing as she replied, "There is no man in my life, one can wait for love."
The 25-year-old Fotima studied fashion and clothing design at the Ibero-American University.
A major scandal was also noted on the eve of the competition: one of the organizers, Navat Itsaragrisil, criticized Fotima for not participating in a sponsorship photoshoot, which escalated the situation. Later, he was removed from the competition process. Miss Universe President Raul Rocha Cantu condemned such behavior.
