The quality of air in the capital is under constant monitoring. According to the State Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, air pollution is being monitored 24 hours a day in all districts of the capital using mobile ecological laboratories.
These laboratories were organized by the "Specialized Analytical Control Center in the Field of Environmental Protection," and, for example, the area around the "Turkiston" metro station in Yunusabad district is under constant observation.
The Committee has established an operational headquarters with the aim of improving air quality. In cooperation with the relevant authorities, it is monitoring the environmental situation, directing identified sources of pollution to the appropriate organizations in accordance with the established procedure, and taking necessary measures.
These measures are considered an important part of the continuous monitoring system aimed at making the air in Tashkent cleaner and safer.
