The activities of 18 facilities polluting the atmosphere in Tashkent have been suspended.

The National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change announced that 18 facilities found to have violated the law during the conducted raids were shut down for 10 days.

On November 24, after 7:00 PM, extensive environmental control measures were carried out in Tashkent city and the Tashkent region to ensure environmental safety.

Four rapid-response groups created by the State Environmental Control Inspection (Ecopolice) of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change conducted operations in the Kibray, Zangiota, and Tashkent districts, as well as in the capital's territory. Employees of the State Tax Service, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs were also involved in the raids.

During the inspections, a total of 103 enterprises and operational facilities were examined. As a result, 38 cases of violation of atmospheric air protection requirements were identified, and administrative fines totaling 34.8 million soums were imposed on those responsible.

The activities of 18 facilities that grossly violated legal requirements and had a negative impact on the environment were temporarily suspended for 10 days.
