As a result of the attack, the upper floors of the building were damaged, but no casualties were reported.
In his address on Telegram, the Chechen leader confirmed that a drone attack had been carried out on one of the high-rise buildings in "Grozny-City." According to him, this is an attempt by Ukraine to put pressure on and intimidate the civilian population.
Kadyrov described this action as "an attempt to cover up failures on the battlefield by striking civilian objects" and emphasized that Ukraine "should not expect a delayed response."
The attack that occurred on December 5th is reflected in videos spread on social networks — the strike appears to have hit approximately the 28th floor, with several floors of the facade destroyed and a fire breaking out.
For reference, the "Grozny-City" complex consists of seven skyscrapers located in the center of Grozny, with heights ranging from 18 to 40 floors, the tallest tower being 145 meters. The complex was built between 2007 and 2011.
