Three members of a family were found unconscious in their home in the Yukori Chirchik district and taken to the hospital. The press secretary of the Prosecutor General confirmed the situation to Darakchi.uz.
According to information, on November 25, a 68-year-old resident of the Gulobod neighborhood, U.A., and his two grandchildren born in 2017 and 2013 were admitted to the resuscitation department of the district medical association. They were diagnosed with poisoning by an unknown etiological substance.
Despite the medical care provided, the woman and her 8-year-old granddaughter died. The life of the child born in 2013 was saved, and it is reported that his condition is currently satisfactory.
The district prosecutor's office has initiated pre-investigation actions regarding the incident. Also, a commission has been established by the head of the Yukori Chirchik district to study the causes of the incident.
