According to "The Telegraph," the plane took off from the city of Acapulco, located on the Pacific coast, and crashed near the San Mateo Atenco industrial area, approximately 50 kilometers west of Mexico City.
It is reported that the aircraft attempted to land on a football field but collided with the metal roof of a nearby factory. As a result, a strong fire broke out.
According to Adrián Hernández, the coordinator of Civil Protection for the state, there were eight passengers and two crew members on the plane. After the accident, the bodies of at least seven people were found.
Due to the fire, approximately 130 people from the surrounding area were evacuated. The causes of the incident are currently under investigation.
