A driver trapped between two buses in Tashkent has died.

The bus driver got off the bus that was stopped without pulling the handbrake, and crossed to the front side.

Today, December 20, a tragic road traffic accident occurred in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city. A 37-year-old driver, who was caught between two buses, died at the scene. This was reported by "Toshshahartransxizmat" JSC. 

According to the report, around 16:56 at the railway crossing on Khanabad street, a Yutong CNG bus moving on route 55 had stopped due to a passing train. Another Yutong CNG bus behind it had also stopped. 

The driver of the rear bus got out without applying the handbrake and went to the front of the bus. At that moment, the bus moved forward on its own inertia and crushed the driver between it and the bus standing in front. 

As a result, the driver died at the scene from the injuries he sustained. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred due to the driver's carelessness. Currently, investigative actions regarding this situation are being carried out by the Tashkent city DIA.
