According to the publication, Sedat Saran was called in for questioning within the scope of an investigation after returning from a trip abroad. Traces of narcotic substances were found in his hair during the conducted examinations, but no such substances were found in his blood tests. Documents regarding this situation have been sent to the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office.
According to TRT Haber, extensive investigations into the trade of narcotic substances have been ongoing in Turkey since October of this year. Within the scope of these investigations, a number of journalists, actors, and bloggers have also been detained.
