During the current year, 2,887 cases related to the illegal use of energy resources have been identified. According to preliminary calculations, these violations have caused a total of 1 trillion 243 billion soums in damage to state interests.
According to information, 668.9 billion soums of the misappropriated energy resources account for electricity, and 574.7 billion soums for natural gas. For a legal assessment of the cases, 2,696 sets of documents have been sent to law enforcement agencies.
Furthermore, 5,296 administrative cases related to violations of energy resource usage rules have been officially registered. During quality control measures conducted on oil products, based on samples taken from gas stations and enterprises, 9.3 million liters of substandard oil products were identified in 377 instances, and their sale was prevented.
