Starting from 2026, the tax regime for self-employed taxi drivers will change.

In accordance with the President's decision, taxi drivers will pay the tax levied on their turnover at a reduced rate — 1 percent.

For example, if a driver earns 2 million soums in a month, they will be required to pay 20 thousand soums in tax.

If a driver operates through online aggregators, the tax will be automatically withheld at the time the income is transferred.

In this case, the aggregator withholds tax only from the income received through its own platform. For income received outside the platform, the driver must pay the tax independently.
