According to information, the incident occurred in the Payariq district of the region. The woman's actions were identified through surveillance cameras, and the situation was clarified. The baby was found dead.
"Zamon.uz also contacted the Samarkand regional DIA information service to clarify the situation. According to the DIA, an examination has been appointed regarding this matter. The issue of initiating a criminal case will be decided after it is determined whether the child was born alive or was stillborn,"— the report states.
