President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation of promising construction projects aimed at developing tourism, transport, and social infrastructure in the country. It was emphasized that economic growth rates and the expansion of international cooperation demand the accelerated development of modern infrastructure in Uzbekistan.

The presentation reviewed plans to build a Congress Center and a historical-ethnographic park in the city of Khiva. It was noted that these complexes will serve to host international conferences and increase tourist flow. Furthermore, the establishment of a Confucius Institute and a Lu Ban Workshop is planned to develop cultural and educational events as well as vocational training.

Plans to modernize Urgench International Airport, improve passenger and cargo services, and expand logistics capabilities were also discussed. In addition, proposals were made to lay a separate railway line from Urgench station to the airport, reconstruct the Urgench–Khiva highway, and build a new parallel road.

The project to build a modern expo-center in the city of Fergana was noted as serving to increase the region's investment appeal. Furthermore, proposals were presented to establish the Burhaniddin Margilani Scientific Research Center and to build a new campus for Bukhara State University.

The project to build a modern artistic gymnastics complex in Tashkent city was also discussed, and it was emphasized that it is aimed at developing youth skills and training professional athletes.

The Head of State emphasized that quality, convenience, and modern urban planning requirements must be prioritized in the implementation of the projects, and that it is essential to consider the needs of the population, giving relevant instructions to the responsible persons.
