A pharmacy selling potent drugs without a doctor's prescription has been identified in Khorezm.

During an urgent operation conducted by employees of the Hazorasp district division of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, citizen G.Kh., a pharmacist at "Kh.D.D." LLC pharmacy, was caught red-handed selling the drug "Omeprazole" to citizen O.A. without a doctor's prescription.

Furthermore, during the pre-investigation check, a shortage was discovered of a total of 2,846 units of 10 types of potent drugs, which had been accepted for dispensing to patients based on prescriptions and were under the strict accounting and material responsibility of the pharmacy director.

Regarding this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 271 of the Criminal Code (illegal possession of medicines, their analogues, or psychotropic substances), and investigative actions are being carried out.
