A major campaign for the registration of the population and agriculture has begun across the entire republic.
So far, 4 million 776 thousand out of a total of 7 million 613 thousand households have been registered. However, the work in this regard is progressing slowly in the city of Tashkent, Fergana, Surkhandarya, Bukhara, and the Tashkent region.
"Such an important event is being held for the first time in 37 years.
Registration serves to determine the real situation of every neighborhood, every family, to set future plans accordingly, and most importantly, to put in place effective mechanisms aimed at improving the living standards of the population",
— said our head of state and called on all our compatriots to actively participate in the registration.
The reports and proposals of district governors, neighborhood chairpersons, and deputy governors were heard at the meeting.
