According to information from Uzbekistan's Consulate General in Istanbul, the body of a woman was discovered in a garbage container in the Şişli district on January 24.

The results of the investigation confirmed that the deceased was a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In connection with this incident, two citizens of Uzbekistan were detained while attempting to flee to Georgia, and subsequently another individual was arrested as a suspect.

Turkish law enforcement agencies are conducting a comprehensive investigation regarding the persons suspected of the murder.

Consulate General diplomats have contacted the family members of the deceased and are providing them with consular and legal assistance. The case proceedings are under the supervision of the diplomatic mission.
