What did the ministry emphasize should be paid attention to?
"Do not approach the sides of tall buildings where snow masses, icicles, and ice may form, and do not allow children to play or be in such places;
If a hazardous area has a fence or warning signs, do not attempt to pass through it, bypass the dangerous area using another route;
Do not walk on the street wearing headphones, as you may not hear the noise of falling snow masses from roofs;
When moving along a pedestrian path and you hear a suspicious noise from the upper floors, you should not stop, raise your head and think about what might be happening there. It could be falling snow masses, icicles, or ice. In such a situation, you cannot run away; you should press yourself against the building wall as quickly as possible, as this will help you stay safe;
Do not park vehicles near tall buildings or structures with snow masses, icicles, and ice on their roofs;
If a person is injured due to snow masses, icicles, or ice falling from a roof, emergency services should be called immediately," the ministry's report stated.
