A fraudulent scheme related to illegal airline ticket sales that had been operating for several years at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport has been uncovered. It is reported that since 2014, airline tickets not registered in official systems were purchased through a fake ticket office on the airport's premises. As a result, foreign citizens, including those from Uzbekistan and Turkey, have also suffered. This was reported by the publication MK.RU.

According to investigative authorities, the cashier accepted money from clients and provided them with documents for real flights that were not entered into official information databases. In some cases, the received funds were temporarily spent on other needs, and genuine tickets were repurchased later. In this way, the fraud went undetected for a long time.

However, this scheme was eventually exposed, and more than 20 clients were deprived of both their money and their airline tickets. The criminal case was opened after the victims appealed to law enforcement agencies.

The Solntsevsky District Court of Moscow found the accused guilty in this case and sentenced him to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
