Instruments aimed at developing local production and industrial cooperation on the basis of a new system have been introduced by the presidential decree. According to it, product sectors that contribute to increasing value-added chains in the national economy are identified across sectors.
Within the framework of the decree's implementation, the Competition Committee has been tasked with studying the degree of market saturation. Based on advanced econometric methods, the Research Center under the Committee has conducted more than 150 analyses and identified 110 types of product markets recommended for production.
Furthermore, short-term price forecasts for socially important food products have been prepared and are being submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers and relevant agencies. In addition, business activity and regional competitiveness indices have been developed and put into practice for assessing the competitive environment in the economy.
