According to Lavrov's emphasis, Russia is ready to offer the CIS countries various forms of cooperation in the field of education. He said that promoting the Russian language within the framework of new international organizations and other formats is a promising direction.
The minister noted that some positive shifts are being observed in the CIS area. In particular, the Russia-Kyrgyzstan education project, being implemented on the initiative of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, was specially emphasized. The project envisages the harmonization of school and higher education programs.
It is reported that an event dedicated to this topic was held in Bishkek, and the next meeting is planned in the near future. Conclusions based on its results are being prepared and will be presented to the heads of state.
