Speaking about the first days of the war, heavy losses, and the people's ordeal, Vladimir Putin said that the plan to seize Kyiv in a short time had not been realized.

He stated that Ukraine would not be defeated and that the country would continue its resistance.

While expressing a desire to achieve peace, Zelenskyy noted that any negotiations must be conducted based on Ukraine's interests and on fair terms.
