Individuals involved in the sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances via Telegram in the cities of Tashkent and Navoi have been detained. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office.
It is reported that the suspects agreed to sell "mephedrone" to a citizen via a "bot," received the money to a bank card, and were caught while hiding the substance in an abandoned house in the city of Navoi. Furthermore, in Tashkent, narcotic drugs were also found hidden in various locations—under a manhole cover, between concrete slabs, and under a tree.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding these incidents under Article 273 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
