According to "Uzbekistan Airports," all resident and non-resident airlines are temporarily suspending flights operated from Uzbekistan airports to airports in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iran, Kuwait, and Israel. No clarity has been provided on how long the restriction will remain in effect.

Currently, airlines are operating special flights to return passengers who have already departed on these routes to Uzbekistan by February 28, 2026. Information about these flights can be obtained through the airlines' representative offices.

On February 28, the airspace over Iran was closed after United States and Israel began airstrikes on Iranian territory. On March 1, Umrah trips being organized by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and tour operators were also temporarily postponed.

The situation in the region is currently remaining tense.
