During rapid operational measures carried out in the Fergana region, approximately 21,000 units of potent drugs were seized. This was reported by law enforcement agencies.
During an operation in the city of Kokand, a "Spark" car under the control of a citizen born in 1983 was stopped, and 9,960 units of "Zardex" drugs were seized from its salon as material evidence.
Furthermore, during an inspection of a "Cobalt" car under the control of a citizen from Quvasoy at a checkpoint in the Pop district of Namangan region, 8,000 units of "Zardex" hidden in the inner parts of the doors and 309 grams of "hashish" narcotic substance were discovered.
In the Bagdad district, 1,691 units of "Regapen" drugs were seized from a "Nexia" car. In another incident, two citizens in the Fergana district were caught selling 1,274 units of "Regapen" drugs for 56 million soums.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Articles 251¹, 246, and 273 of the Criminal Code regarding these incidents, and detention as a preventive measure has been applied to the suspects. Investigative actions are ongoing.
