Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated against Odilov under Article 168 (fraud) Part 3 and Article 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, and a custodial restraint measure has been applied against him. Investigative actions are ongoing.
At the same time, Abdurahmon Tashanov expressed his position on this case, emphasizing that the process has been marred by procedural violations from the very beginning. According to him, lawyers from the capital did not participate in the court, and a state-appointed lawyer was involved.
