Vehicle traffic has been partially restored on Timur Malik Street in Tashkent, where a section of the road collapsed near the bridge. The capital's city administration reported this.
According to the report, limited traffic has been permitted on the section of Timur Malik Street in Mirzo Ulugbek District from its intersection with Sultoniya Street to Mirzo Ulugbek Street. Traffic on this section has been organized at speeds of up to 30 km/h.
Furthermore, it is possible to exit from Sultoniya Street onto Mirzo Ulugbek Street via Timur Malik Street. From the direction of Mirzo Ulugbek Street, movement is permitted along Timur Malik Street towards Sultoniya Street.
Previously, traffic in this area was temporarily suspended and some bus routes were altered due to a collapse that occurred on a section of this overpass, which had been opened in August 2024.
