The Center of Islamic Civilization, established on the initiative and idea of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is a complex operating on an international scale, specializing in issues of our religion, history, science, culture, and education.
The museum area of the Center consists of six halls: "Pre-Islamic Civilizations", "The First Renaissance", "The Second Renaissance", "Uzbekistan in the 20th Century", "New Uzbekistan — The Foundation of the Third Renaissance" and "The Holy Quran".
In the Holy Quran hall, located in the most central part of the Center, a place is occupied by the spiritual pearl of the Muslim world — the ancient Uthman Mus'haf. Furthermore, copies of our sacred book written during the periods of the Samanids, Karakhanids, Khwarezmshahs, Uzbek Khan, Timurids, and other historical dynasties, as well as their translations into Old Uzbek, are also present.
It is worth emphasizing that the "BBC Travel" publication of the BBC also included the Center of Islamic Civilization among the six most anticipated museums set to open in 2026.
The opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan will be a historic event not only for our country but for the entire Muslim world. This center is recognized as one of the most important scientific and spiritual shelters on the path of creating the foundation of the "Third Renaissance".
