It has been reported that V.A., born in the Urgut district of Samarkand region, contracted an acute tooth infection while working in the construction sector in the Netherlands. Because he did not seek qualified medical assistance in a timely manner, a severe inflammation developed, leading to serious health complications.

While returning to Uzbekistan via Brussels, his condition sharply deteriorated. He was immediately admitted to the Saint-Luc University Clinic in Brussels. Doctors assessed the patient's condition as extremely critical.

Specialists at the clinic performed two complex surgeries. The patient spent a long time in the intensive care unit connected to a ventilator.

According to reports, from the moment the citizen was hospitalized, employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan maintained constant contact with the doctors, clinic administration, and the patient's relatives. The embassy carried out the necessary consular and organizational work.

"Thanks to the joint efforts of Belgian doctors and Uzbek diplomats, the citizen's life was saved," the report states.

Currently, V.A. is in Uzbekistan, continuing treatment and rehabilitation surrounded by his family.
