Today, on the morning of June 2, a fire occurred in one of the multi-story residential buildings in the city of Navoi. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.
It is noted that at 04:19, the unified dispatching service "112" received a report that the roof section of a 9-story building located on Alisher Navoi Street in the "Kimyogar" neighborhood of Navoi city, Navoi region, was on fire.
According to the report, 7 fire-rescue units and 2 aerial ladders were deployed to the fire site. Rescuers arrived at the scene at 04:23. The fire was contained at 04:35 and completely extinguished at 05:35.
According to preliminary information, the roof, ceilings, and interior of approximately 300 square meters of 8 apartments located on the 9th floor of the multi-story building were burned.
It was reported that no information about casualties as a result of the fire has been received.
Currently, the causes of the fire and the amount of material damage caused are being determined.
