Official information provided on traffic accident involving bus and “BYD” in Tashkent
Official information was announced on the road traffic accident involving a bus and a BYD brand light vehicle in the Mirabad district of Tashkent city.
According to the Information Service of “Toshshahartransxizmat” JSC, the incident occurred today, June 2, at 15:28. The driver of a “Yutong” brand bus, operating on route 16, belonging to the branch “2-Avtobus saroyi”, K.D., was moving along Nukus Street in the Mirabad district.
It is noted that when the bus was turning left at the intersection of “Nukus” and Taras Shevchenko streets, it collided with a “BYD” brand car coming from the opposite direction.
According to preliminary data, the accident occurred because the BYD driver moved without obeying the red prohibiting traffic light at the intersection.
As a result of the incident, the bus driver and the “BYD” driver were taken to the Republican Clinical Hospital No. 1 under the supervision of emergency medical personnel.
This case has been documented in the established order by the responsible officers of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department's Traffic Safety Directorate.
