On June 3, the head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held a meeting with the Federal Chancellor of Austria, Christian Stocker. Mirziyoyeva announced this on her Telegram page.
It was noted that during the meeting, issues of further developing relations between Uzbekistan and Austria were discussed. The parties exchanged views on strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and intensifying cultural ties.
Also, during the dialogue, Uzbekistan's cooperation with the European Union and new opportunities for implementing joint projects were discussed.
"It was emphasized that both sides are interested in further expanding the partnership in a spirit of mutual trust and respect," wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
