The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has reported the death of a 29-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan in Turkey.
According to the report, information regarding this incident was received by the Consulate General on May 29 of this year. Subsequently, necessary measures were initiated in cooperation with the relevant authorities of Turkey.
Currently, practical assistance is being provided to the relatives of the deceased regarding the repatriation of the body to Uzbekistan and other consular and legal matters.
According to the Consulate General, an investigation into the incident is ongoing in accordance with the established procedure.
We recall that earlier it was reported that a 54-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan died as a result of an accident at an aluminum factory in the Sakarya province of Turkey. It was also reported that the case of Nodira Kodirova, an Uzbek national who died in Turkey, is being re-examined.
