As a result of effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Turkey, T.R., a 40-year-old resident of Khorezm, and F.A., a 38-year-old resident of Tashkent, who had committed large-scale fraud and were internationally wanted, were identified and detained in Turkish territory.
According to information from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, these individuals were received by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan in accordance with the established procedure and were repatriated to the country to be brought to justice before the court.
It is worth noting that in recent years, practical cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Turkey has been consistently developing. Effective results are being achieved in this direction in the fight against crime, identifying internationally wanted persons, and bringing them to justice.
Currently, urgent investigative and legal measures are continuing to identify and apprehend other individuals who have committed various crimes in the country and were hiding in Turkish territory.
