A woman living in Samarkand city was found to have been subjecting her 7 minor grandchildren, who are under her guardianship, to physical and psychological pressure. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.

According to the information, after a video message spread on social networks about the violation of the rights of 7 children, the situation was investigated on-site by the regional representative of the Children's Ombudsman in Samarkand region.

During the investigation, it became known that 61-year-old B.M., a resident of Samarkand city, had been regularly subjecting 7 minor children under her guardianship to physical and psychological pressure.

Based on the request of the Children's Ombudsman to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a protection order was issued to protect children from violence and ensure their safety.

Also, through the efforts of the regional representative, the guardianship of citizen B.M. over the children was revoked, and they were placed in a family children's home.
