In a section of the international importance highway A-373 passing through the territory of the Ohangaron district of the Tashkent region, the speed limit for vehicles has been restricted. This is stipulated in the relevant decision of the Council of People's Deputies of the Tashkent region.
We are talking about the area between the 103rd and 131st kilometers of the A-373 "Tashkent–Ohangaron–Angren–Kokand–Shahrikhon–Andijan" highway.
According to the decision, the maximum speed for light and light cargo vehicles of categories M1, M2 and N1 is set at 80 kilometers per hour. For heavy cargo vehicles of categories N2 and N3, this indicator is set at 50 kilometers per hour.
As noted in the document, these restrictions are introduced to prevent road accidents, ensure traffic safety, and protect the life and health of citizens.
At the same time, road signs number 3.24 "Speed limit" and additional information indicators will be installed in areas where the speed limit applies.
