A court verdict has been announced in the Surkhandarya region against members of the Alfa criminal group who attacked a doctor and a patient at a hospital. This was stated in the verdict of the Denov District Court on Criminal Cases.
According to the investigation materials, the group members came to the hospital to visit an acquaintance injured in a traffic accident, where they started a fight. As a result, they beat a doctor and the driver of the other car.
A criminal case has been initiated on this incident under Article 277, Part 3, clause "g" of the Criminal Code.
The court established that 28-year-old S.Kh. and his accomplices formed a criminal group to obtain easy income, engaging in hooliganism, extortion, and other illegal activities.
In particular, in one of the incidents, they forcibly put one of the citizens into a car and demanded 2,500 US dollars from him. They also confiscated the keys and documents of the victim's Labo-brand car.
According to the court verdict, two of the defendants were sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. Another defendant received 5 years, and the remaining two were sentenced to 5 years and 1 month of imprisonment each.
