In Tashkent, a service weapon was used against the driver of a Cobalt car who grossly violated traffic rules and endangered the lives of other road users. This was reported by the Press Service of the Road Safety Service.
According to the report, yesterday, June 11, at around 21:34, a citizen named R.Y., born in 1982, driving a Cobalt car along Shota Rustaveli Street in the Yakkasaray district, grossly violated traffic rules and endangered the lives of other citizens.
It is noted that the driver did not comply with the lawful demands of internal affairs officers to stop and continued moving. He also collided with several vehicles, causing them technical damage.
During the rapid response measures, law enforcement officers used a service weapon to prevent harm to the life and health of other citizens. The driver was first warned, and then a shot was fired at the car's wheel.
As a result, the vehicle was stopped, and the driver's further dangerous actions were halted.
It was reported that this citizen is registered at a neuropsychiatric hospital.
