The State Tax Committee reported that six of the country's most popular bloggers were found to have not paid approximately 3.1 billion soums in taxes to the budget .
According to the data, the committee studied the activities of 110 bloggers. Of these, 55 are self-employed, 33 operate as individual entrepreneurs, and 22 operate as individuals.
In 2025, the total declared income of these bloggers amounted to 2.7 billion soums, while the amount of tax paid was 110 million soums.
At the same time, based on an analysis of advertising posts and stories, it was noted that approximately 3.1 billion soums in taxes were likely unpaid by six major bloggers. It is emphasized that these figures are preliminary calculations.
The committee reminded that blogging activities fall under the category of entrepreneurship and also noted that self-employed individuals cannot officially hire employees.
Bloggers have been given a three-month deadline to bring their activities into compliance with the legislation.
