A pupil of a non-state preschool organization located in the Payariq district of Samarkand region died as a result of falling into a water reservoir. This was reported by the information service of the regional Department of Preschool and School Education.

According to the information, on June 5 of this year, R.M., a pupil of the non-state preschool organization "Yulduzcha" located in the "Sarbazor" neighborhood of Payariq district, born in 2023, fell into a water reservoir built for emergency use on the grounds of a general education school near the institution.

As a result, the child died.

It is noted that a pre-investigation check is being carried out by the Payariq district prosecutor's office regarding this incident.

The Department of Preschool and School Education of Samarkand region expressed deep condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased pupil.
