Within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Albania to Uzbekistan, a meeting was held at the Kuksaroy residence between the First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and the First Lady of the Republic of Albania, Armanda Begaj.
During the conversation, conducted in a spirit of open and sincere dialogue, the parties discussed prospects for further strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Albania, as well as expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Within the framework of the cultural program organized after the meeting, Armanda Begaj became acquainted with examples of Uzbek applied art. In particular, she was shown examples of wood carving, ancient suzani embroidery, and traditional pottery art.
One of the brightest parts of the program was the exhibition of national costumes and the presentation of the "Kelin salom" ceremony, reflecting the characteristics of various regions of our country.
It was noted that the First Lady of Albania showed special interest in the national traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, highly appreciating their deep historical roots, uniqueness, and elegance.
