President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with proposals for further improvement of the public security system. The meeting discussed issues of reorganizing the activities of the Public Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs based on modern management and digital control.
According to the proposals, prevention inspectors will be relieved of excessive duties, and their main focus will be directed at preventing offenses in the communities. The "My Inspector" electronic system will be introduced, data exchange with judicial-medical institutions will be digitized, and inspectors will be trained online.
Furthermore, it is planned to grant inspectors the authority to independently make decisions on certain offenses, implement a system of administrative warnings, and create a unified information database for prevention. The President instructed the responsible persons to develop specific solutions for strengthening public security and promptly responding to citizens' appeals.
