Two citizens died as a result of a fire in the Yozyovon district of the Fergana region. This was reported by the regional Department of Emergency Situations.
According to the information, on June 16 at 22:16, a report came in through the "112" system about a car burning in the area of the "Soy Boyi" neighborhood in Yozyovon district.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene based on the report managed to extinguish the fire in a short time.
According to preliminary data, the fire damaged 60 square meters of an unattended non-residential building and three vehicles of the brands Labo, Hyundai, and Mercedes-Benz.
It is reported that two citizens died as a result of the incident. Another three citizens were hospitalized with various degrees of bodily injuries.
Currently, the causes of the fire and the amount of material damage caused are being determined. Investigation work is being carried out at the scene by the leadership of the regional Department of Emergency Situations, responsible officials of the district department, and representatives of relevant services.
