The Amazon Leo company of the USA and the joint venture "UZ-SAT" have signed an agreement to introduce high-speed satellite internet services in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

Through the project, high-speed internet access will be created not only in cities but also in remote areas with limited telecommunications infrastructure.

Users will connect to the network via Nano, Pro, and Ultra antennas. The Nano device provides internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps, while the Ultra provides up to 1 Gbps.

Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) provides internet services via more than 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit and is considered one of the main competitors of Starlink.
