Nearly 2.5 kilograms of hashish were seized during rapid operations conducted in the Andijan region. This was reported by the State Security Service.
According to the report, during a rapid operation carried out in the Asaka district, in cooperation with the Andijan regional department of the SSS, employees of the Internal Affairs and Customs authorities, a car of the "Lasetti" model was stopped and searched.
During the search, 2 kilograms of hashish were found belonging to three citizens, residents of Namangan city and the city of Margilan in the Fergana region, born in 1970, 1981, and 1984. The incident was documented in a procedural manner.
Additionally, during another rapid operation in the Markhamat district, 497 grams of hashish were seized as material evidence from a "Cobalt" model car driven by a citizen resident of Kuva city, born in 1985.
It was reported that this type of narcotic substance may have been smuggled into the country from abroad.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and a remand custody measure has been applied to the suspects. Investigative actions are ongoing.
