A criminal case has been opened against a man who intervened in a fight between teenagers and caused bodily harm to a child in the Shakhrikhan district of Andijan region.
According to a report from the regional Department of Internal Affairs, on June 18 at approximately 15:30, two children born in 2016 got into a fight with each other while swimming along the Shakhrikhansoy canal, which flows through the territory of the "Namozgoh" MFY.
At that time, a father born in 1988 intervened in the situation and beat the neighbor's child.
After the video of the incident spread on social networks, law enforcement agencies conducted an investigation.
The man expressed regret for his actions at the internal affairs department, stating that he was sorry for what he had done.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 277, Part 2, Clause "d" (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code in connection with this incident. The suspect has been detained, and investigative actions are ongoing.
