The oldest participant of the Second World War in Uzbekistan, Ruziboy Sattorov, has passed away.

The veteran, who fulfilled his dream of flying on an airplane, died at the age of 116.

A participant of the Second World War from Kashkadarya, Ro'ziboy Sattorov, died at the age of 116. He was one of the oldest war veterans in Uzbekistan.

Ro'ziboy ota, who lived in the Kamashi district, served as a rifleman on the Stalingrad front during the Second World War.

Last year, by order of the head of state, his long-standing dream was fulfilled. The veteran flew on an aircraft belonging the Ministry of Defense's Air Force and had unforgettable impressions.

For reference, during the Second World War, more than 47,000 people from the Kashkadarya region were mobilized to the front, of which 22,000 returned safely from the war.
