In the Urgut district of Samarkand region, three individuals who attempted to sell more than 2 kilograms of hashish were detained. This was reported by the State Security Service.
It is noted that during an operational event conducted in cooperation between the State Security Service and Internal Affairs bodies, local citizens born in 1990, 1998, and 2008 were caught red-handed while selling 2 kilograms and 80 grams of hashish to a conditional buyer for 27,400 US dollars.
It turned out that one of the detained individuals had previously been convicted for a crime related to drug trafficking.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being carried out.
According to current legislation, persons who commit this type of crime may be imprisoned for up to 20 years.
